Artists: 1st block art class at King William High School including: Renee Adams, Jack Brownson, Sean Carter, Allyson Gray, Justin Hooper, Megan Jefferson, Amy Jones, David Lickey, Lindsey Layne, Dominque Oxendine, Karl Paff, Walter Reed, Kendan Shoup, Jessica Taylor, Jessica Washington, Sydney Watkins and Corinea Wright.

About the artists: King William High School 2nd year art students submitted ideas for this fish, voted on the designs, then worked cooperatively to draw and paint the design on the fish sculpture in acrylic paint. Other students made individual fish sculptures in paper mache as part of the Schools of Shad initiative.

Description: Students painted an whimsical underwater scene on the shad, featuring a sunken ship, treasure chest, sea turtle and fish that the shad might find in the ocean.
